Which is especially important as the temperatures drop and the risk of cold and flu increases. The benefits of purple tea protect and support a healthy mind, and body, so why not make it a necessary part of your day?

Warm, iced, blended, or steaming, with so many options of flavor to suit your palate, Purpose purple tea is best enjoyed during every season. However, the fall and winter present the perfect opportunity to get creative with how you enjoy your tea. The shorter days, chilly temps, and lack of sunlight can affect our moods, our diets, and our level of activity and productivity. Our bodies are also at a higher risk for catching a viral and bacterial infection during the winter. This is why now is a crucial time to prioritize your healthy lifestyle strategies, and do your best to support and safeguard your body during this season. Add Purpose tea to your day and enjoy all that the seasons have in store.

The possibilities to remix and get creative with your tea recipes are endless, but we’ve listed a few of our favorite purple tea varieties below.

Served hot in your favorite mug

Whether you love tea, occasionally drink tea, or are looking for a coffee alternative without the crash, a regular cup of warm tea makes for an excellent winter companion and can help you to stay healthy throughout the wintertime. In addition to supporting your immune health. Purple tea can help boost your brain and heart health, improve your digestive health, and give you the energy and focus you need to power through your day.

Simply adding Purpose purple tea to your favorite mug or tea kettle to heat up and serve warm can provide that gentle pick-me-up you need to keep your day going great. Hot tea is hydrating, soothing, comforting, and nourishing. The calming aroma, and robust flavor gives you all you need and more. In fact, the antioxidants in tea are what draw tea drinkers to it, and the more antioxidants in the tea, the healthier it is. Purple tea contains nearly 50% MORE antioxidants than any other tea, yes, even green tea. Another benefit of drinking warm purple tea is that there is less sugar and synthetic caffeine, so you can enjoy the natural lightly sweetened flavor without the jitters. Try a hot brew of one of your favorite flavors of Purpose purple tea and see how it warms your day!

Infused with honey and lemon

With the fact that viruses that cause colds and serious illnesses spread more easily in lower temperatures, you must protect your immune system. Strong immunity will help fight infectious bacteria, keeping cold, congestion, coughing, and flu at bay. Fortunately, purple tea is well-known for its incredible anti-inflammatory properties like flavonoids (an antioxidant) and can help in boosting our immunity system and reducing symptoms of flu and sicknesses like chest congestion, fever, and sore throat. Especially when you add honey, peppermint, lemon, or ginger to your cup.

Not only does honey and citrus elevate the flavor of your purple tea, it helps support the wellness benefits for your mind and body.

Honey and lemon help aid the digestive tract, support digestion and remove any harmful bacteria from the stomach. This is incredibly important to your immune system, because gut health is what fuels and maintains your body, especially your immune system. The high levels of acidity found in lemons, and the coating nourishment of honey helps speed up the digestive process. Lemons are also a great source of vitamin C and is a natural diuretic. Hot purple with lemon and honey will aid in digestion, cleanse the liver and flush out toxins and impurities from your body.

A delicious hot or iced latte

The fewer hours of sunlight that accompany the winter season, affect your sleep cycle and make us feel lazy and tired known as "winter tiredness." Because we receive fewer hours of sunshine, our bodies produce more of the sleep hormone melatonin making you feel sleepy and lethargic more frequently. This is why you may find yourself ingesting more caffeinated beverages. Particularly coffee. Enjoying a cup of coffee is fine, however, you do want to be mindful of the amount of caffeine you intake each day. Too much caffeine can have harmful effects on your body. A great perk about the caffeine that you get from purple tea is that 'caffeine boost' doesn't come with a quick high and crash like the caffeine from coffee. Tea slowly absorbs the caffeine and has a stable energy release, making it a longer-lasting and more effective energy stimulant than most caffeine-containing beverages.

Purple Tea also contains many useful stimulants such as antioxidants, and L-theanine, that energize your body and stimulate the brain, great for keeping you up and running throughout a cold day. Switching things up and opting for tea over coffee can have significant improvements to your day and overall wellness, especially in the winter.

Try this purple tea latte to power your day! It's both affordable and accessible, but still totally delicious. This soothing latte is easy to make, uses just a few ingredients, tastes amazing and is still super energizing!

A purple tea latte is simply a latte made with purple tea instead of espresso. Traditional lattes are a blend of steamed milk and espresso, but in a purple tea latte, we remove the coffee and use tea in its place.
