Thanks to everyone who participated in the Purpose Tea Make An Impact 2018 contest! We received so many great entries and selected winners who are dedicated to driving positive change in their special way. Spreading goodness was the goal of this campaign and everyone who participated continually inspires us to do our part through our Direct Impact program, which gives back to female tea workers who do most of the work but lose out on most of the profits.

Purpose Tea is grateful to our amazing ambassadors Mai Lyn Ngo of Deep Fried Fit and singer, songwriter Carmen Rodgers, two purpose-driven women making an impact in their fields and communities.  They rallied behind our mission and helped people get excited about the opportunities to make an impact in their communities.

The winners we selected are making an impact in their community through volunteering, giving back and donating goods to great non-profits or the homeless. Their selfless acts are making a positive impact for so many important issues we face today. Purpose Tea is excited to help strengthen their purposeful journey! Thank you for participating and congratulations to all of our winners! All winners will be contacted via social media to claim your monetary prize or allow Purpose Tea to donate your winnings to a nonprofit of your choice. In 2018, Choose Remarkable™.

THE WINNERS ARE…

FIRST PLACE:

@unitybeads: “I try my best to #makeanimpact2018 in many peoples lives from donating clean water wells and help single mothers make jewelry to make money for their families. It is amazing to me to see what one person’s impact and do imagine if everyone would do something for someone what an amazing world this would be. I really respect what you are doing. I just wish more companies would do it.”

SECOND PLACE:

@_jayxtee: “@deepfriedfit @purpose_tea, I am a teacher leader with Students Run Los Angeles and we train at-risk secondary students to run the LA marathon every year. I also donate to Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, which saves dogs from the meat farms in Asian countries. Both awesome organizations that help so many and would benefit from volunteering and donations! #makeanimpact2018”

@alicevstheworld: “I love this! My #makeanimpact2018 is to talk more about the issues of depression/mental illness and educating the Vietnamese Christian community about the #metoo movement. Sadly it’s not talked about enough in our community and leaders don’t know how to help I’m hoping with my blog I can make an impact somehow!”

THIRD PLACE:

@toshiashaw: “I will continue to support girls and women who are survivors of sexual trauma at @purplewingsorg because I survived and it’s my duty to help them survive and thrive ?. But now I’ve found some purple @purpose_tea to sip! @carmenrodgers #makeanimpact2018”

@primetime218419: “#makeanimpact2018 I’m going to help coach children AND adults learn how to play flag football. @purpose_tea any person who comes to my area, I will not turn away!!! If I win, go ahead and donate it to the YMCA l! Thanks @deepfriedfit !!”
